That is 28 more than in August 2011 when an Advertiser investigation revealed there were 312 people in Lanarkshire on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
Data obtained by the Advertiser under the Freedom of Information Act shows that none of October’s list were reported missing or on the run.

A further 14 perverts live in the Clydesdale area, nine in Carluke and five in Lanark.
In neighbouring North Lanarkshire towns, 33 people on the register live in Motherwell and 23 in Bellshill.
There are currently 146 people on the Sex Offenders’ Register living in South Lanarkshire with 194 in neighbouring North Lanarkshire.
And 33 per cent of the sex offenders listed in South Lanarkshire live in QB division – the police force which covers Hamilton, Blantyre, Larkhall, Stonehouse and Bothwell.There were 49 people residing within the QB division who were on the Sex Offenders’ Register in October, up 14 per cent from 43 in 2011.This is broken down to 29 of them living in Hamilton, nine in Blantyre, five in Larkhall, three in Bothwell, and six in Uddingston.Twenty-three perverts live in East Kilbride, the largest town in South Lanarkshire, and 22 stay in nearby Rutherglen and 15 in Cambuslang.The number of paedophiles, rapists and sex attackers on the Sex Offenders’ Register in Lanarkshire has rocketed by 14 per cent over the past two years.A total of 340 people living in the county are on the register, the latest police figures reveal.
